Hasnan explained that the pain appeared suddenly.
“What I felt was sudden pain on the left side, in the back, radiating to the front. It spread, and the pain was quite disturbing for my daily activities,” he said.
Severe flank pain radiating to the front abdomen is a typical symptom of ureteral stones, which occur when a stone blocks the urinary tract from the kidney to the bladder.
