Prudential and Mandaya Royal Puri Hospital have launched a health collaboration to support 1,000 selected Prudential customers in undergoing early breast cancer detection. In addition to Mandaya Royal Puri Hospital, Prudential also partnered with Siloam Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Center (MRCCC).
Previously, Prudential Indonesia and Prudential Syariah conducted a survey titled Patient Voices: Experiences of Healthcare Access in Asia, carried out across four countries: Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The survey involved more than 4,200 respondents.
The results revealed that 9 out of 10 Indonesians admitted to delaying treatment or seeking healthcare services. According to Yosie William Iroth, Chief Health Officer of Prudential Indonesia, several factors contribute to this delay, including high treatment costs, lack of clear health information, and prioritizing family needs over personal health. These barriers prevent many people from accessing the medical care they require.
To address this, Prudential Indonesia partnered with hospitals offering comprehensive cancer services, with the goal of improving access to essential healthcare—particularly early breast cancer detection. Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers in Indonesia. On the other hand, this type of cancer has a high treatment success rate—up to 90%—when detected at an early stage. This highlights the critical importance of early detection.
Breast Cancer Screening Facilities at PRUPriority Hospital, Mandaya Royal Puri Hospital

Follow-Up of Breast Cancer Screening Results
Eight out of ten breast lumps are benign. Therefore, treatment can be tailored to each patient’s specific condition. Beyond screening, Mandaya also provides comprehensive treatment for both benign and malignant breast tumors, including:
- Vacuum Assisted Breast Surgery (VABS): a minimally invasive procedure that removes breast tumors using vacuum technology, avoiding large incisions.
