It’s normal to feel anxious about staying in the hospital. Please know you’re not alone. You will have an entire healthcare team focused on your safety and well-being.
Your doctor or the clinic staff will have made the necessary reservations for your admission and either on the day of your admission, or before, you can visit the Welcome Center to complete your pre-admission registration and confirm financial arrangements so that you understand how the payment process works and what you can expect to pay.

The hospital will advise you in advance of what day and time to arrive at the Hospital for your In-patient procedure.
o Where To Go
When you arrive at the hospital, proceed directly to the Welcome Center just to the right of the Main Hospital Entrance. Our Customer Service and Registration will be pleased to welcome you and to verify your identity and complete the Registration process.
If you are unsure of where to go, the Doormen and Patient Experience staff at the main lobby will be pleased to assist you.

What to Bring
Special instructions for COVID-19
o In addition to the checklists below, bring an acceptable face mask to wear while you’re on hospital grounds, which is required of all visitors and staff. (We recommend wearing a face mask anytime you’re away from home.)
Your nurse will need the following things from you to complete your admission.
* Your doctor’s referral letter
* KTP Identity card/passport
* Any medical benefits card or letter of guarantee from your insurance company/employer (only applicable for companies that have credit arrangements with the hospital)
For additional items, focus on much-loved, much-worn items that will help you feel at home for your stay, including:
* Personal care products and toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner, comb, toothbrush, shaving equipment and lotion.
* Eyeglasses, hearing aids, dentures, canes, walkers, crutches and other assistive devices you use for daily activities.
* Pen and paper, for writing notes and questions.
* Earplugs, earphones and playlists of your favorite tunes.
* Phone charger.
* Books, magazines, playing cards or games to help pass the time. Mandaya Royal Hospital Puri does offer free Wi-Fi access for patients and visitors.
Medical and registration items
Please bring any registration forms or medical records, reports, and radiology images that were requested by your care team and not already sent.”

What not to Bring
You may want to leave these items at home for safe-keeping:
* Jewelry.
* Large amounts of cash. There are ATMs in the hospital, and all retail outlets in the hospital take credit/debit cards, so you don’t have to carry large amounts of cash.
* Expensive technology devices or other valuables. If you have the latest laptop or other tech gear, you may not want to worry about tracking it from place to place throughout your stay.
There are retail outlets in the hospital that are stocked with personal items, magazines, ear plugs and other items.”
