The Accident & Emergency Unit is a 24-hour health service for emergencies and life-threatening cases. The unit is managed by emergency medicine specialists, a team of specialist doctors, as well as general practitioners and specially certified nurses.
The 20-bed Accident & Emergency Department features a one patient-one room configuration to ensure privacy and reduce cross-contamination. Easy access to the radiology department ensures quick transfer for diagnostic procedures.
A separate area to accommodate infectious A&E patients is specially designed with a separate entrance. With a separate air ventilation and exhaust system, and airlock mechanism, the risk of cross-contamination or infection is greatly reduced.
